Aspen trees have a relatively short life span that benefits from selective harvesting, and Classic Core fibers are made from the entire aspen log leaving little waste. Made from engineered aspen flakes that are significantly longer than they are wide, Classic Core has the strength of veneer core, yet is 30 percent lighter than board core. Classic Core is beautiful to work with. Its solid core quality makes it easy to machine.
